Warranty & Returns
Hippo Bottles have been designed to keep by your side for a lifetime. Sometimes though, life just gets in the way and if something does go wrong, our warranty covers you against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of your purchase.
If necessary, we will always aim to replace your bottle with one of the same size and colour, however if it is not available we will do our best to match it to your original bottle.
What’s not covered?
General wear and tear (scratches, dents or dropped bottles)
Damage by incorrect use (use of the dishwasher/freezer)
Disassembly, alterations or modification (such as engraving performed by a third party)
How do you know if your products are covered under warranty?
A proof of purchase is required to verify the date of purchase and ensuring the authenticity of your product. If you no longer have this available, unfortunately we will not offer a replacement as we will be unable to validate the warranty.
Claiming under the warranty
If you think an item from your order is faulty, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will look into it for you. Please describe the fault and provide a photo of your item.
You will be entitled to a refund for up to 30 days after your purchase. After this period, we will only be able to offer replacements under our warranty.
What if my product arrives damaged?
If your Hippo Bottle arrives damaged, please do not use it as this will void your warranty. Please contact us at email@example.com with images of the item and we will happily replace it.
We will only discuss warranty claims with the person who placed the order, if you received your Hippo Bottle as a gift, please ask the purchaser to contact us and we will resolve it directly with them.
Due to GDPR we are unable to discuss corporate orders with anyone other than the person/company that purchased the original order. If your Hippo Bottles product has a custom logo and a manufacturing defect, please contact the person you purchased it from/person in charge of ordering. Unfortunately co-branded products are not covered by our warranty and replacement products will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
At Hippo Bottles we accept returns up to 30 days after delivery. We do not operate an exchange service, but as long as the product has not been used or engraved, we will process your full refund once the return has been delivered to our warehouse.

Please note that it can take up to 14 working days for returns to be processed from the date we receive them. We do not offer free returns and the cost of returns will need to be covered by the customer. Please ensure all returns are in a saleable condition.
Hippo Bottles do not accept any responsibility for returns that are lost in the post, we recommend using a signed for service when returning your item to us.
If your Hippo Bottles order is faulty or arrives damaged, we do not expect you to return it. Instead, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with details and photos of your product to be covered under our warranty, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible following your delivery to resolve any issues.
If you haven’t received your confirmation email, please firstly check your spam folder as sometimes they can get lost in there!

Can I cancel/edit my order?
Once your order has been placed it cannot be edited, however if there is an issue such as wrong delivery address or wrong product ordered, you have one hour following your confirmation email where your order can be cancelled and refunded. You can do this directly from your confirmation email.
If your order is placed with Co-branding you retain every right to cancel up to payment of your order, once the payment has been confirmed you will have up to two hours following this to make your cancellation.
Do you track my order? Yes, all Hippo Bottles orders are tracked. If you are worried about how long your order is taking to arrive, please contact email@example.com for your tracking number.
